Storytelling – The Backbone of Business
Storytelling works. Scientific studies and years of human experience show that people understand, memorize and become moved to action by stories.
In the US, companies have embraced storytelling and strategic branded content for years. 90 percent of American businesses say that they use this form of communication, citing that it’s both cheaper (up to 62 percent) and more efficient than traditional PR, slogans and printed ads.
In Denmark we’ve only just begun.
Stories help us to make sense of our world. Media savvy customers expect us to relate to them and their values through stories while our colleagues are increasingly seen as a team of ‘brand tellers’ – the ambassadors of the brand. The people who tell the story of our businesses and our products are the trusted advisors to their professional and social networks.
It makes sense to equip them with a strategic, well told, authentic and (above all) true story.
